Super nice, friendly staff, excellent food with a great view!

What a gem of an "Alpwirtschaft" restaurant! (Totally worth the slightly steep hike up to it from the main path. From the cable car exit along the easy ridge route with magnificent views, about an hour plus at the most.) I sat along the side of the restaurant, overlooking the valley and had an excellent meal, with a delicious local valley meat "Spiess" and sumptuous salad. The service staff were attentive and friendly and the hour plus I spent quietly enjoying the meal was very fulfilling.

Great experience! Delicious food, very good service, cozy rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the sun after the meal. The salad and the meat with herbal butter were amazing.

Great menu grat vibes great views The schnitzel was really good and felt healthy Nice post or pre hike stop Shop local!

Very nice place with great view. Chill outdoor atmosphere, delicious food and a nice service. Recommend to try local salad.

This could be my new fave restaurant! Very cosy, attentive child-friendly staff made us feel at home. Simple, fresh, local traditional Swiss food. Good vegetarian options too. We caught the gondola up from Kussnacht to Seebodenalp, did the ball runs with the kids along the panoramic ridgeline, up the hill to the restaurant at the end, then back along the same path. Took the gondola up at 0930 then back down at 1400, that was taking it very easy with four kids. Oh and foraged for wild strawberries on the side of the path along the way, especially on the hill bend between the two restaurants.

A steep but short hike brings you to this lovely little restaurant. We arrived an hour before they closed and got to see the sun start to set. There’s a few other restaurants in the area that you can hike to as well, but this one was the only one open late.

Amazing spot, really really good views! We didn't stay for drinks (we just stopped to catch our breath in the way down Rigi), but we will be back for sure. A friend checked the menu and said the prices were good. They are open every day during the year except from November to January, then it's just open weekends.
